Another thing to consider is the fact that leaving
your blackwater gate open allows the accumulated sewer gasses of the entire
Oceanside community to rise and reside in your blackwater tank... and in the
vicinity of your vent opening... and even though it's vented, you will notice
the 'aroma' whenever you flush ('burp') your toilet... your trailer will become
the 'stinky kid' of your neighborhood.
