I'm attaching a pic of an outrigger. This one is there to support the water
heater. You can see the square hole in the shell (patched with some flimsy
flashing) where the heater's cover would normally be. The outrigger is
the short steel support directly below the opening, that is perpendicular to
the frame rail.
