Tuna - do you think that it's possible that the
"shortness" of the axle could have anything to do with
the fact that it's under a zero load?

does the axle flatten out when the body is actually
resting on it?  It seems to me that it might spring up
a little under no load so it only appears to be 2-3"
too short.

just a thought.
