I've got the original aluminum tanks on my '76 Sovereign. For
some strange reason, the previous owner had spay painted them
with what looks like aluminum colored Krylon. I want to clean
them up, but hate to use caustic strippers. Will sandblasting the
tanks harm the surface of the aluminum? Anyone tried this?
I'm thinking of using walnut shells for an abrasive.
