[VAC] Vintage tow vehicles benefit

I'm looking for a 1967 - 1969 Ford pick-up as my
"vintage" tow vehicle.  I personally think this is a
good choice for a number of reasons - horsepower, and
availability of parts -- since it's a high production
vehicle, parts are easy to find.  AND it's something I
know I could rip down and build up on the side of the
road (god help me) PLUS, when traveling in places like
Mexico, or the 2009 Capetown to Cairo, I imagine there
will be parts available nearly anywhere.

just thoughts.  it's a truck, at worst, I can carry
parts in the bed.
