I have done a fair amount of wiring in areas that are just
plain impossable to route inside the wall and have used the system that allows
running the wires in a metal channel outside the wall.... sounds clutzy, but
actuall looked pretty good after the install was complete... boxes and fixtures
can also be surface mounted (special, available with the system) and might save
you a lot of grief trying to get the wire inside the wall from under the
floor..You could just drill a hole down through the floor just inside the wall
where you want the recepticle and find the hole from underneath to complete the
job....mount the rest of the hardware with rivets and you are
done...
