two distinct processes - cut (high RPM), and color
(low RPM)...

the actual polishing is the "cut" process.

funny thing is, a cyclo polisher does it backward,
color then cut...  I always found that interesting...
the buffs move more slowly through the new polish
until it begins to break down, then they speed up
because there is less resistance... color(slow) then
cut(fast)...
