[VAC] Re: New Bambi not particle board.

I'm wondering if the Oriented Strand Board (OSB) mentioned here is the
same material that my new house was sub floored with. It's fairly large
chips and it's not particle board but I don't know about the oriented
part. Looks kind of random to me. But my question is would this OSB
material be better to use than marine plywood in replacing some water
damaged floor in front of the door on my Tradewind? If so, where would I
find it? Having never replaced bad flooring I thought I would cut out the
damaged part and replace it with marine plywood. Is this how it's done?
(Not to be minimizing the effort involved.)
