[VAC] Re: Rocky Mountain VAC rally

Hey guys,
         I know of a couple campgrounds on the Front Range.  One is the KOA 
in the Poudre Valley just north of Fort Collins, CO.  The mountains are 
beautiful, it's easy to get to, but the highway is kind of close (maybe too 
much noise).  Another is in the mountains close to where we live.  It is a 
State Park, so I don't know if that makes a rally possible (some of you 
undoubtedly will have more experience.  Anyway, it is just West of Laramie 
Wyoming about 30 miles and not too far up the mountain.  Very much a 
mountain camping experience (no hookups), but beautiful, good hiking and 
fishing and not too crowded in my limited experience.  Another lovely place 
is the Sand Dunes in Southern Colorado.  I can't remember what the name of 
the State Park is, but I could find out.  I'll keep thinking and let you 
know what else I can think of.
