[VAC] Re: serial #
While you're at it RJ, what can you tell me about the trailer in our town
with a number of 18D0136? I have assumed that it is an 18' trailer made in
1960 with a double bed and sequence number of 136. However, this is the
little trailer that looks almost identical to the one in Brian Burkhart's
book that is towed by the little Falcon. There is no name plaque, but the
Airstream name is in that sideways "s" curve with the blue background. The
only difference with this trailer and the one in the book is the
venting. On this trailer there are no vents sticking out the top. I've
also peeked in and it has the double bed on the curbside to the rear, a
little toilet in a closet across from the bed, kitchen streetside and it
looks like no couch up front. I'm kind of dying to know what it is. The
fellow who owns it doesn't know, but he says he bought it brand new in 1959
and uses it for camping. Thanks for your assistance, maybe I'll be able to
sleep soon. Jodi
