[VAC] Re: Aluminum A/S fifth wheel

They also made a 5th Wheel in 1988. Only then they called it an Airstream. Not
an Airstream Landyacht.
I have a customer with one. He is the second owner. While the skin is
aluminum, it is painted and it is part of a composite wall construction
technique used briefly on these 5th wheels and the square Argosy of that
period. In 1990 Airstream went to a fiberglass composite wall for the
Landyacht trailer and motorhome.
