If you want a longer-lasting wheel, I've had good luck making aluminum cuts
with a metal cutting wheel on a roto-zip fitted with the optional angle
grinding attachment. These are also available at sears. Great little tools
for doing all kinds of unobtrusive modifications in tight spaces, and great
little grinder-polisher to boot.
