Abused batteries have been known to explode. Check the battery water and
voltage regularly. If the battery voltage isn't up to 14 the battery
isn't being charged well, but if the voltage is over 14.2 its being over
charged and the water level will be falling fairly rapidly. Use only
distilled water to fill the battery each check.

If you have no battery (some text got scrambled in your message), then
you are runing everything on the converter. If the lights don't burn out
rapidly the voltage is decent. If the converter doesn't overheat its not
overloaded and everything is OK.
