Hi Judy and list.

Towing a 73 Ambassador with a Pathfinder V6 is not OK, nor is towing a
lightweight horse trailer with two large horses in it. Way beyond the
advertized specs. The trailer guy called an engineer at Nissan who said
it was so over engineered that doing it ocaisionally was OK.  The
problem has less to to with engine, transmission or brakes than with the
length of the Pathfinder. I did it, but one stupid driver would have
been a bad problem. Bringing home the AS slowly over back roads is a
risk, but so is leaving it where it is. It's all fun and games until
some body gets hurt (or something)
