Steve , I don't know what kind of mounts they are, but many newer A/s
have them. Even a long bolt centered, and a plate with large wing nut
would do it.  For a smaller A/S, put the spare in the tow vehicle.
Or,.....you could move your LP tanks forward 2 inches. and place the
spare behind the tanks.
