You have probably received enough "why the shine?" answers, but here's
another.
I have polished one panel on my 1966 Sovereign. The other day, after the
afternoon sun had a chance to heat up the trailer surface, I felt the
polished panel and it was cool to the touch. The non-polished surface was
too hot to touch. Would anyone agree that a polished trailer might get by
without air-conditioning?
