[VAC] One week polishing!?!

Ditto. I think there must be a very wide range of conditions being described
as "polished". Are we including details, window frames, areas under drip
mouldings ...?
Sanding of scratches, stripping of old weatherstrip adhesive, removing and
re-installation of some parts, cleaning of seams ...? All vintage trailers
are not equally neglected.
I could see the perfectionist version of this job taking 250-300 hours or
more on a 19' trailer. I'm hoping I'll be happy with closer to 150, but who
will know till I'm done. The harder I work on it, the better it looks, and
the more thorough I'm inclined to be. Shiny aluminum is a contagious
condition, though unfortunately not spontaneous.
