True sir...but I already have one of those $5 fluorecent 
lamps in 6vdc just aching for me to find a place to put 
it...it is currently powered by 4 "AA" batteries. A quick 
line tap, a resistor/solder/wire and shrink tubing and a 
"coax" barrel of the appropriate size would have it 
running.
