I know this will not make you feel any better but I bought a 1965 Tradewind a 
couple of years ago in mint condition, I Cannot think of hardly anything that 
was not wrong with it  New bath floor repair rot in other parts. New holding 
tanks the list goes on and on and is nowhere near the end. I have spent 
thousands of$ and countless hours. Both times I have taken it on the road it 
comes back with other faults to be corrected. I have named it the (Silver 
Albatross) after the ancient mariner. Good luck.
