DO NOT USE A WIRE WHEEL ON YOUR A/S !!!! I made that mistake and am still 
sanding the area smooth. I used the softest brass wire I could find and it  
scratched the hell outta the surface. If there is any kind of putty or 
sealant between the fixture and the skin scrape it of with a sharpened 
popsicle stick or plastic body putty scraper. Using a Scotchbrite  pad is 
tollerable because it can be buffed out without too much trouble. Never use a 
wire wheel on A/S skins unless you have something very extream to get off the
