Hi Anthony.  My '59  Caravanner has three vents. The forward one is 15 X 26.
I replaced it with glass siliconed on the outside but as I remember it the
plastic vent fastened directly to the operators but there was a frame
beneath that was mainly screening with a hole in either end for the
operators to bear against when tightened down. Kent from PEI.
