Nick,

It sounds like you need:  1.  new shocks  or 2. balance the tires.
Something not right is causing the vibrations.  What was the conditions of
the pavement when you were doing 60?  Maybe that is why they told us(in the
old days) to keep it below 55.  I know that is had on our new hiways but I'd
suggest you investigate the vibration befor you take it out again.
