[VAC] insulation alternatives

The recent discussion of expanding foam sealant for insulation purposes
prompts my recollection of someone who was going to try foil covered bubble
wrap.

Is that person still around?  Was the bubble wrap a good option?  I think I
would shy away from any conductive type of liner for insulating the wall
cavity in the Airstream.
