That is scary!  You can find and install dead bolt locks that work from both
sides.  (Just hope THAT thing doesn't freeze up!  That was a great story.)
That will help secure the unit while you are away and while you are in it.
Maybe consider a big dog ... they are cheaper than a husband or boyfriend
and not near as much trouble.  Glad you are ok.

It is like the virus ... once warned ... take action.
