hi Deena, i just bought a rubber face mask that had two round air filters on 
it and was rated for paint and fumes. there are others that are for sanding 
wood and dust and so on so make sure you get the one for paint. you can get 
them at the local hardware store or paint store. they are about 30-40 
dollars and worth it.
