[VAC] Silicon on aluminun-yikes!!!!

Hello: 

I'm looking for handy suggestion and handy hints from this august and highly 
esteemed list on how the *&^%$#@ one gets silicon off a Airstream?

My wonderful 58 , whom we've named Rebecca, has silicon plastered all around 
the windows, doors and anything else they could smear it on.

Also...Merry...a acete/oxy torch is way to hot. Use a propane carefully. And 
best of all, an electric heat gun!!!!!

I would like to say thanks in advance and add that I really appreciate the 
huge volume of knowledge we can tap into on this list.
