Hey Elisa,
The "Blue" tank is an external grey water tank.  Our 1971 Tradewind does not
have an internal grey water tank.  We use a "Blue" tank and I find it
superior to an internal tank.
 
Also on a recent trip to New Mexico, we did not want to hook up to water (it
was freezing) and we used a portapotty.  It worked great, was easy to empty
and no worry about freezing.  Good idea.
