Long extention cord  plus trailer cord  in the driveway equals low voltage to
converter.  The furnace has a gaget called a sail switch which keeps power from
the gas valve unless  the fan has enough speed to close the switch.  You may
have too little voltage in the driveway but when you get rid of the extention
cord and plug directly into the 30 amp supply at the rv space you get
sufficient 12 volt to turn the fan at its rated speed.  IMHO
