Re: [VAC] Re: (*Burb*)

Thanks again for all the help folks!
Very Interesting Indeed! I am happy to report that after running the new
gas lines today, and blowing out the orifice, I've got a good High and
Low flame going on my original Dometic. Brushed out the dust off the
coils and fins, tossed in a thermometer and now I'm waiting to see what
will happen.

Supposedly this fridge works on electric, but I've not tried it as the
only electric this one sees is AC. I certainly wanted it to go on gas,
and I blew crude out of the Orifice. I read in the manual about using a
flue brush, and cleaning the baffel. My baffel looks a wee bit cooked
but there are a few twists left.

After about a half hour some of the exterior tubing felt like it was
trying to move some heat from here to there, so I have hopes. The
original long handled spark striker is there, and tosses a spark but
it's rather punk, to mix metaphores. My lighter worked better but that
was easy since the trailer stripped to a shell and no furniture is in
the way. I'll bet someone has made a Piezo electric sparker for
soemthing like this...

Thanks again for all the good advice!!
