Polly, a couple of years ago I lost my front window. I duct taped a piece of
plywood to cover it up to allow me to get home. I made it from South Dakota
to Ohio this way. I did check the tape each time we stopped for gas. If you
go this route I would suggest the highest quality duct tape available, not
that cheep stuff. It just doesn't hold as well.
