[VAC] Leaking Shower

Thanks for all the advise on my leaking shower.  I'm sorry it took so long
to respond, but our lovely Christmas trip turned ugly when both my husband
and I got the flu.  We drove to the Keys and turned around a day later and
returned home so we could be really sick in our big bed.  The coziness of
the Airstream became a real liability when we both started coughing and
hacking.  I felt like we were in some incubation test tube.  I just wanted
out.  We also discovered on the trip to the Keys that the mechanic in
Clearwater who replaced our pig tail crossed the wires.  The brakes are now
connected to the backup lights.  So they only work when we're backing up.
It was not a fun trip.
     We're now back in Atlanta and finally feeling better.  The Airstream is
still in Florida.  I think we'll probably tackle the shower when we bring
her back to Atlanta in the spring.  My husband thinks that it only leaks
when we're hooked up to our van.  He thinks that causes some kind of unusual
torque to the trailer.  Even if that's so, I think it will be a hard fix.
But, we could get by using the shower when we're unhitched.
     We're planning on coming to Sarasota for the rally but staying at a
nearby campground.  I look forward to meeting many of you then.
