Dear 68 overlander owner,

I am also a owner of a 1968 overlander and I am also trying to restore/remodel ours! I am using lighthouses as a theme for ours, because I think of being in a boat cabin a lot of times when I am in our airstream, so I thought, why not do a nautical theme? Ours is in pretty good shape, I am going to get rid of the old orange floral print cushin material and have them done in a dark blue probably. Our floor plan I believe is a 26D, we have a pull-out bed in the front the sink with stove eyes is by the door as you come in. In the center is a full size pull-out bed with drawers and closet across from it. The bathroom is a creamy yellow and is in pretty good shape, I am in need of a new shower curtain that latched to the wall, I found out that they are not made anymore.

The first thing I did when we bought the airstream was I got rid of all the old curtains and track system. I made blue and white checked material curtains and used standard rods above and below the windows. This keeps the curtains against the round frames. In the kitchen and by the dresser area I used velcro for the tie backs.

Please e-mail me back. I would like to keep in touch and maybe we can help each other!
