Front A-frame intrusion into lower body trim of trailer

I have noticed a slight gap in the gold trim along the bottom side of my trailer where the A-frame goes beneath the body on both sides. My guess is that the bouncing of travel has caused pressure just above each a-frame member during travel. According to the brochures I have showing placement of support structures under my 72 model, it appears that there would be adequate support even if the floor has weekend somewhat. Has anyone else noticed this problem on the Streamline travel trailer? My biggest concern has been keeping these small gaps siliconed to prevent any further water into the main floor after driving through rain or melting snow in the winter. The small gaps are the same width of the a-frame members and appear to be caused by the frame flexing up into these areas. I have not noticed any other areas of buckling or rivet problems on the front side of the trailer.
I would be interested to know if this has occured on other Streamline trailers out there still in use?
