Description
Vehicle Description

1963 Streamline Trailer in great original condition, but not quite ready to camp. This is a real creampuff of a trailer that has always been in California. I am the third owner. I have clear California title, currently registered, ready to tow. I bought this as a project, to put back on the road and use, but I have acquired a more interesting project and I have no room to store this one, so it has to go.

The length is 22 feet 10 inches from tip of tow ball socket to the back bumper. The aluminum body itself is 19 feet 3 inches long. This is just the right size to two behind your RV or your Classic Car. (Take this to "Hot August Nights" behind your station wagon and steal the show!)

I have rebuilt the electric breaks with new components. I have re-packed all wheel bearings. The tires are old, but serviceable and hold air very well. I towed it about 50 miles when I bought it 2 years ago. It tows like a dream and weighs about 3000 pounds. I have installed new exterior light lenses (red and amber) all around and all exterior lights work.

The frame is solid. The underbelly skin is complete and in good shape with no damage. There are no leaks, except for the two missing panes of glass in the front left louvered window. This window has been taped up to keep rain out until I got around to purchasing new glass. All window screens are in place and in good shape. All the window cranks and roof vents function correctly.

EXTERIOR:

I installed a new roll up canopy on the existing hardware. The canopy works perfectly and looks terrific. The exterior protective coating has already been stripped to expose the bare Aluminum. The skin was polished, though it will need another polishing to look splendid. There are only a couple of minor areas of damage to the skin, but no big dents. The whole thing has such a great art-deco look. There are no propane tanks, though I am selling the ones I purchase for this trailer separately. Check out my other auctions.

INTERIOR:

The floor is solid throughout except for one very small spot in the far corner of the dinette. The interior is all Aluminum with wood doors and Formica countertops. It's all original and needs a good cleaning. The appliances and plumbing have not been tested. The interior has a small side dinette, a full size bed (not twins) and a closet and chest of drawers; gobs of storage, even under the bed. It has a fresh water tank and a single holding tank. You will have to add a new mattress and new dinette cushions and curtains to finish the job.

I'm sorry to let this one go. You won't find a better one, unless you buy a restored one and pay 3x the price. The reserve is very reasonable. MUST SELL! I'm not trying to make a profit on this one. It's gotta go.

No PayPal or personal checks. I will accept a cashier's check, money order, or green cash.

No deposit needed, but you must pay the full price and must tow it away within one week of the close of the auction, or I will re-list it. There is no warranty, no guaranty. The trailer will be sold as is, where is. The trailer is located in Orange, CA 92866. It is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to stop the auction at any time.
