It was a wonderful & fun filled rally at Lynden, WA., hosted by the Mt. Rainier Chapter. The weather really cooperated. Warm days, cool nights. Mt. Rainier has to be congratulated for an enjoyable rally.

Lynden is a very clean Dutch community. The people seemed very friendly.

I just heard that Alberta Withrow lost her husband, Gene. The sympathy of all the Royal Rovers is extended to you, in your time of sorrow. Just stick in there, Alberta, I know what you are going through.

So far, Edna and I haven't made it home yet. We've been in NV for ten days. Have tried to break the casino's from Reno to Laughlin. If I don't end up losing everything, including my shirt, or make so much I can't carry it all in one load, should be home in another ten days.

Until next time, Happy Trailering & Look for new members.

    Adios to you all.

Greetings from Apache Junction, AZ

Another Int'I rally is now history, and what a great one it was! Thanks so much, Mt. Rainier Chapter, for all your hard work and excellent planning to keep us entertained. The tour to Victoria was superb and Lynden was delightful. Just wish I'd had more shopping time.

We welcome 3 new members to our Royal Rover family: #3499 Nick & Elsie Goldman, Lone Star; #3500 Roger & Marie Scoville, Mt. Rainier; and #3501 Steve & Janet Fisher, Houston. We're so happy to have these fine folks join us.

We have received the sad news that 3 of our members have passed away. Gene Withrow, #3414, died in his sleep shortly
