Dear Gus, now you have me worried, and this is another example of me getting
smart late i guess. would you suggest redoeing the whole trailer with
aluminum wool using MEK and then H2O again to remove the steel wool residual? or do
you have another suggestion? and i really do thank you, jim

Jm
I really am not sure the use of aluminum wool, in you case, will completely remove
all the embedded steel particles, but it sure would be worth a try. Yes, I would do
the whole trailer. Also, almost any non-water based agent would be OK to flush off
the particles as you dislodge them while rubbing. Water would speed up any corrosion
due to dissimilar metals. So would acids or caustic solutions.

I received a request to make earlier digests available, and they are now
available on the website.

Go to the Silver Streak Postings at
http://www.tompatterson.com/Silverstreak/MHonArc/maillist.html and click on
Digests in the center, towards the top, or go directly to the following
link: http://www.tompatterson.com/SSDigests/Digestlist.html.

I will be updating the digest listings (as well as the individual postings)
on an irregular basis.
