Hi- we have a 1977 silver streak supreme luxury liner...i think it is also
called a continental supreme. We bought it sight unseen on ebay last year
  and love it.

We have not had to do any remodeling on the things you see because they
were
all in really good shape. The cabinets and drawers are all in excellent
condition. We did put in a new toilet just on principal and as of last week
got a new carrier airv air conditioner. The old one worked, but it was on
its last legs and we wanted to replace it before we took a trip in the hot
weather and have it conk out on us on a trip. If any one needs a new
one...I
  would highly recommend this one.

Also just put in a new futon sofa to replace the sofabed that was about 20
years old. We did put in an on demand pump which really improved things. So
far, we have not had too much trouble having work done on the guts...all we
really had to do was replace the twist locks on the black and grey water
  valves.

We are probably going to be taking out the folding dining table that is
attached to the wall. We also have the two leaves that came with it. Only
reason we are thinking about taking it out is that the new futon comes out
further from the wall then the old one did and we need a table that can be
placed directly in front of the futon. If we do take it out and you need a
  table, let us know.

Good luck with the streak. We moved from Orange County to New Mexico. You
will love it here in the southwest.

   Hi Harriet,

You are fortunate you trailer was in such great condition.

I will be changing the black and grey water valves as one is stuck open,
any tips on this?

Thanks for the tips on the A/C and "on-demand" water pump. Sounds like the
way to go.

We have lived in the desert now for 16 years, Victorville is in the Mojave
Desert 200 miles south of Las Vegas, Nv. on I-15, yes we do love the South
West.

  Harriet,

What size is your S.S.? What do you pull it with?

Did you send pictures of it through the list? If so, I don't think they
  propagate.

  Ros

  Hi Ros,

The sslist server strips HTML and any pictures from mail, at least that is
what I read when I signed up.

Perhaps someone could set up a site for us to upload pictures to? That
would be nice.

  Hi Bill,

Congratulations on your Silver Streak. It is said that it is the finest
  trailer ever made.
What model S.S., is it, Bill?

Not that I have any but what parts are you looking for? Maybe I can keep
  an eye open for them.

I wish that there was a place for all of the list members to post pictures
  of their trailers.
I would be very interested in seeing the member's trailers both from the
  exterior to the interior.

  Ros

  Hi Ros,

I am not sure of the model, how can I find that info?

We are uncertain what all we will need, we have had the trailer for 1 week
and not had a chance to check everything to see if it works. We are truck
drivers and are going home now for 3 days. I will start checking things over.
There are 2 things I can think of now, they are the level on the tongue and
the letters on the front of the trailer (2 are broken).

I agree, a way to post pictures would be nice.

Our link with pictures is http://domedreams.bizland.com/therv or it is
posted on Ebay for sale right now, with 1 or 2 days left the item # is
2432173191 . Thanks for your emails we love hearing about all the Silver
Streaks, there are two others for sale on ebay, but in your Search you have
to spell Silverstreak as one word. Ours is spelled with two. Melissa & Bob
