The door would not close so had to be removed. The old Sharp was tall and square compared to the new ones available now. I purchased a comercial Emerson from Target. The new unit, being shorter and deeper when it was seated, barely fit. I did have to move the 110 volt duplex toward the rear of the trailer and down. Otherwise, the connection would have interfered with the top rear corner of the microwave. I recommend building a cleat to hold the unit down on top as it seems to me the mounting screws from the bottom up are not enough to keep it in the cabinet on rough interstates. I need a reliable source for plain and creased sheet anodized aluminum. Are there any parts available out there? My dealer friend has a number of plug door hinges. No main door hinges. Any of them would hold the weight of a microwave but you'll also need an AC outlet. My microwave is located directly above the refrigerator. Gus Please let me know who the dealer is with the plug door hinges. One of my hinges on the bottom is cracked. 1977 Supreme Luxury Liner...a phone number would be great and maybe they could ship it to me? Thanks James O. However, I don't know what you mean when you talk about creased aluminum. Will you be putting pictures of your trailer on Tom's board? Ros. My "85" has a cabinet over the stove that originally had a microwave and I just replaced it with a carosell type.
