Does anyone know if the overhead cabinets in the kitchen will hold a
microwave? Celina

I don't know if you want to put the microwave inside, or hang it from the
cabinets, but my Streamline Travel Home, which has similar cabinets does
have a small microwave hanging from them. You can see it at:

I have a 1980 year microwave mounted in the cabinet over the range in my
1979 3000. The door would not close so had to be removed.

I am new to the list and my referance is a 1983 3411 Supreme (35'):

A couple of winters ago I removed the Sharp microwave that was original
equipment installed in the cabinet over the stove top and oven. The old Sharp was
tall and square compared to the new ones available now. I purchased a
comercial Emerson from Target. The new unit, being shorter and deeper when it was
seated, barely fit. I did have to move the 110 volt duplex toward the rear of
the trailer and down. Otherwise, the connection would have interfered with
the top rear corner of the microwave. I recommend building a cleat to hold the
unit down on top as it seems to me the mounting screws from the bottom up are
not enough to keep it in the cabinet on rough interstates.

I need a reliable source for plain and creased sheet anodized aluminum. Are
there any parts available out there? My dealer friend has a number of plug
door hinges. No main door hinges.

Which overhead cabinets? Any of them would hold the weight of a microwave
but you'll also need an AC outlet. My microwave is located directly above
the refrigerator. Carl Rodgers

Gus

Please let me know who the dealer is with the plug door hinges. One of my
hinges
on the bottom is cracked. 1977 Supreme Luxury Liner...a phone number would
be great and maybe they could ship it to me?

Gus,

I don't know where you are but any decent metal supply should be able to
provide you with the sheets of aluminum that you require. However, I don't
know what you mean when you talk about creased aluminum.

Will you be putting pictures of your trailer on Tom's board?

Celina:

The cabinets should hold a microwave. My "85" has a cabinet over the stove
that originally had a microwave and I just replaced it with a carosell type.
