Happy New Year! My name is Celina. My husband, Chris, and I purchased a 68
Silver Streak Continental, 2 years ago. For the moment, this is our permanent
residence on 3 acres of land in Sugar Land, TX. and we have been very
satisfied. We look forward to when we can taking her on the road! But
recently, the electricity in the front half of the trailer went out. We
replaced the breakers switches, but to no prevail. We are stumped! If anyone
can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Celina

What is out? Is it 110v or 12v that has gone out? If 12v, then maybe the
problem is the power coming from your converter, and the breaker box is not
where the problem is.

Celina,

We live very close to Sugarland and I would be happy to come by and check
the electrical system out for you. I am very interested in seeing your
SilverStreak. We surely love ours.

Fantastic! TWO more Silver Streaks. And I was feeling soooo
alone. Mine is a 67 Safari model and I'm wondering if anyone
knows much about it or them that I'd like to know. Appreciate any
info or details on what yours is like inside. Mine doesn't need any
remodeling or fixing (thank goodness, as I'm no good at it and wouldn't
want to pay someone what it would cost to have someone else do the
work). I'd like to know your year's and models, etc. too. (Don't
want much do I?)

Hi,
We are near Cisco.
We have a 31' '79 Supreme Saturn.
I have the '78 revision of the wiring schematic for the center and rear
bath models.
I assume you are referring to the 115V wiring.
According to my schematic the receptacles for the front part of the
trailer are supplied by the 15A breaker that also supplies the GFI in the
bathroom, which in turn supplies the outside receptacles.

The RH 20A breaker (nearest the rear of the trailer) supplies the
refrigerator (inside the refrigerator access door on the outside), the
converter (inside the converter/drain valve compartment just behind the
LH wheels) and the kitchen receptacles.

Of course I do not know of any differences between a '68 ans a '78-'79.
