My family and I live in our SS. I have a '79 Supreme Saturn (32') that was originally the Scheimeisters'. They used it for only about 5 years then stored it indoors for the last 16 or 17 years. A friend bought it but never used it, keeping it in his shop building for almost 2 years. It is in very good condition, almost like only 5 years old. It has an Instamatic heat pump on the roof. The only real change from original is the new toilet I put in to replace the original Thetford, which was cracked a lot and had a bad poppet (?) in the vacuum breaker. The tires are brand new of the same model as the originals except without whitewalls. The spare is an original whitewall. I would like to keep it as near original as reasonable but also favor modernization wherever it is of benefit. Thanks Tom for continuing to provide a list for us. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 13 Sep 2003 18:52:08 -0700 From: "Carl Rodgers" <jocarodgers@xxxxxxxxxx.net> Subject: [SilverStreak] grease seals Hi to all, Just lubed the wheel bearings on my 77 SS. The seals which are supposedly scarce are HADCO,P/N 3109. I'm assuming these are the original type of axles (square). These seals are available locally (Spokane Wa.) at Six Robblees Inc, 3710 E. Trent Ave Spokane Wa. 99201 509-535-8862. I spoke with them today and they do have them in stock. Robblees is a brake and trailer parts dealer. Hope someone can use this info. I replaced all of my wheels including brakes, magnets, etc and installed new seals, too. I think I paid around $37.00 per wheel. Now, I can get parts without having to ferret them out. If Jim Dupree is reading this, I still have the parts that you wanted and can meet you on the week-ends. Ros At 08:52 PM 9/13/03, you wrote: >Hi to all, Just lubed the wheel bearings on my 77 SS.
