We had a chance for a 70's Silver Streak, 28ft but we couldn't get there on
the day we needed to, quite a ways from where we live. If they still have
it after our trip to France may take a look. I have some RV lots and would
love to have all old Silvers on them, I have 5 and 1 Silver so far and a
white box. I think I can rent them.

On our 1969 Sabre there is a "trunk" that appears to be factory installed. It
has three hinges that are rusted to the point of being un-usable. Has anyone
replaced these and if so, what did they use?

Joe,
My 1967 Sabre has a trunk and has a long piano hinge
for the door.
Hope this helps. Try a Grianger catalog they have
piano hinges in various lengths drilled or plain.
Brass or steel

  Charlie,
Thanks for the info., now that I think about it, piano hinge would be great
because it would support the whole door when you lay it down to the horizontal
position. What did they use to attach it to the trailer and the door, rivets
or screws?
