I also, did not have a title when purchasing my trailer. I was told to 
find the year, to look in the back of the trailer under the left brake 
lights, is a plaque with the letters "M" &"S", the "M" shows you the 
year it was made. There is also a plaque by the door that has the model # 
and seriel # those are the feet and seriel numbers.  -Celina
