It appears to be a 70's model about 25 feet long, the last 2 digits in the serial number are 75 so maybe it's a 1975. It leaks as all the caulking is dried and cracked. While cleaning it out I ripped up the carpet and underneath was the plywood floor in the middle and linoleum around the edges. The plywood looked solid but when I removed the folding couch/bed I noticed signs of moisture damage. The bottom of most of the wall board show different degree of water damage and there are water marks on most of the floor edge. In one spot the floor has started to rot at the edge. Had I not removed the couch I would never have discovered this rot. Almost all the rest of the floor edges are covered by cabinets, appliances etc. I was planning on screwing thin plywood or OSB as the new floor covering. My questions are, aside from fixing the leaks/moving it under cover, what should I do about the spot in the floor has rot? What are the chances that other parts of the floor I can't see are rotting and should this be a concern? thanks, Daniel ------------------------------ End of Silver Streak Digest V1 #111 *********************************** ----------------------------------------------------------------- When replying to a message, please delete all unnecessary Digest text To unsubscribe or change to an e-mail format, please go to http://www.tompatterson.com/Silverstreak/List/listoffice.html
