Tom's note on attachments says it all! Not to worry, I've been building a
list of "subscribers" so, I've got a decent distribution lined up, and perhaps,
if you like the first issue, I'll be able to grow the list some.

By the way, the Spartanette story is exactly the type of item that would be great
for the newsletter -- which, by the way, I've decided to call "The Silver Streaker."
-- just sounded cooler than Silver Streak Star :-) . While you're out on your
adventures, if you think of it in the heat of whatever frustrating issue you might
be encountering, snap a few shots. It's amazing how much pictures ad to the "Road
Warrior" stories I'm sure many of you have to share.

If you have a story you'd like to tell, contact me at kugger@xxxxxxxxxx.net. Put
"Story Idea" in the subject line, and we can work together to put something together.

Good morning, i'm also very interested in getting any information available
regarding Silver Streak trailers. I have a 1958 23' Clipper that i had to
strip two coats of paint off the outside (just finished after several months), i
have the entire 12v system now working with new front pig-tail, just replaced
the back axle with one with electric brakes, and am now faced with the job of
entirely stripping the inside in order to repaint (or leave clean aluminum?).
i will be rebuilding the entire inside to fit our needs to include every
appliance, new plumbing, etc. i am available for questions, sharing experiences at
msc06usnret@xxxxxxxxxx.com. best regards, jim -)

Good morning. as mentioned earlier i used steel wool for outside paint
removal and am now redoeing the entire outside using aluminum wool - i have posted a
source for those interested. The aluminum wool also helps with a core level
of polishing as long as a liquid is present, otherwise it also begins to leave
behind a darkened area. The whole secret seems to be a light touch and lots
of liquid. I'm now having to entirely strip the inside in order to repaint,
or i may just leave as clean aluminum - will wait and see how much glare there
is. JASCO and the aluminum wool works great after masking down a drop cloth -
but use disposable gloves and taped wrists for protection. also a ball cap
to keep ceiling stuff out of face, etc. also keep a wet rag for washing skin
hot spots which do develop. best regards, jim -)

Jamie - I'd love to be added to the list for the Silver Streak Newsletter.
Sounds great!

Back from vacation. Saw a Silver Streak in a storage lot in Roswell, NM and
another in Colorado I think that I think was a Silver Streak. Only two I
saw. The rest were either Avions or Airstreams. It was fun looking for them
along the way.
