[SilverStreak] Furnace

It is my lattest decision to replace my furnace with another furnace.  However, 
my RV mechanic has informed me that my current non-working furnace is obsolete, 
and they dont make them anymore.  Can any of you fellow SS'rs let me know what I 
might do?  Can I replace the old one w/a simular furnace?  What have you all done?  
And, was it worth it?
