I would like to add to the discussion here that if I had to do it again I would 
get a tank that drained from the bottom, not the side. You would have to put it 
on a 1 inch pedestal for the water line, but that way the tank drains completely, 
you don't have 1/4 or 1/2 inch of water sitting in the tank over the winter. Plus 
I like the idea of draining the tank completely when ever you drain it.
