Re: [SilverStreak] manuels

Hi David

We are members of the Houston Area SS Club and know the Wilkerson trailer
well. It has been a while since we have made a meeting but will get the
meeting schedule to you. They meet the 4th weekend of each month at
Coushatte RV Ranch between Sealy and Bellville. The group is getting smaller
and smaller due to age of members but JW gave me everyone of his cast
aluminum National Silver Streak Rally plaques. I think about 15 in all. Each
is cast aluminum with year of rally. I may post the years to see if anyone
can identify where the rallies were held. I wish I had ask JW or Bob Ashby
when I had the chance but that history may be gone forever.

You can view my "85" 3411 on Tom's site under Dupree. I too have the
original manual and papers on my rig and the order form from the factory.
The 1985 cost $48,000.

>From what I have heard, the last Silver Streak Sterling made which belongs
to a club member, sold for over $100,000 new, a 1998 with slideout.

I am now living South of Houston on Galveston Bay and have my rig on an
extra lot. If you get this way we could visit.

Jim
