[SilverStreak] why no color

hi, kevin sterwald from wisconsin again. really appreciatte all the responses
to my looking for a ss 5th wheel. especially tom from utah. still looking if
anybody knows of one for sale.  i have another question.  from all the ss's
i've seen, they all have the area, that looks like wood graining, anodized
with a gold color. i'm not pertaining to the trim piece at your knees, but the
one that is as shoulder height. i own a 32ft 1977 supreme luxury liner. i've
owned it for about 2 1/2 years. since the day that i've owned it the wood
grain area is completely silver. the front window cover and the removable
corner window covers are also completely silver. there is absolutely no sign
in any nitch or corner where i can find any gold color. the only gold color is
on the bottom trim piece.  did someone acid bath it or did the sun fade it
out??? is there any way i can get the gold back-aftermarket obviously? any
help on this would be great!     thanks again for any help on this matter.
