I replaced my water heater myself. I got an electric/gas unit so I don't 
  use propane when I'm plugged in. I don't remember the brand right now 
but it claims to have a ceramic liner.

I have a tankless in the house. WOrks nice. The RV units are a lot more 
expensive I hear.
