Carolyn is quite possibly correct. Put a rubber stopper in the tub drain. Start filling and watching. If you see water start to run as before, note the condition of the tub bottom and drain flange area. Your leak could also be weight on the tub drain itself causes a bad drain to leak with weight. You can check the shower head behind the wall by simply removing the head, plugging it off, and then turn on the water watching and listening for leaks.
